Is MyFlow really free?
Yes. Dictation is free forever with no word limit, in any app, with every local speech model. No account and no card. You only pay if you want the Pro writing tools.
What's the difference between Free, Pro and Lifetime?
Free gives you unlimited private dictation. Pro ($5 a month or $48 a year) adds AI cleanup, App Styles, Command Mode, Snippets, Personal Dictionary, Insights and history kept forever. Lifetime is Pro for a one-time $49 early-bird price (regular $79) on up to 3 Macs, with all 1.x updates. The full table is in the Pricing section.
Does my voice ever leave my Mac?
No. Speech recognition runs on your Mac and your audio is never uploaded, not to us and not to anyone else. If you turn on AI cleanup, you choose where the text goes: fully on your Mac with Apple Intelligence or Ollama, or to a cloud provider you pick with your own API key. Even then, only text is sent, never audio. The app has no analytics or tracking.
How accurate is it?
MyFlow uses the same open speech models many dictation apps use: NVIDIA Parakeet and OpenAI Whisper. Parakeet is fast and very accurate for English. Bigger models are more accurate but slower, and you can switch any time. Add names and jargon to your Dictionary so they come out right. The best test is your own voice, so try it on Free first.
Does it understand Urdu, mixed Urdu and English, and my accent?
Whisper models understand Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and many other languages, and Parakeet v3 covers 25 European languages. Larger Whisper models handle accents and switching between Urdu and English in one sentence best, though results vary by speaker. Translating Urdu speech straight into English text is coming soon to Pro.
Does it work in every app?
It works anywhere you can type on your Mac: Slack, Gmail, WhatsApp, Notion, Google Docs, your code editor, the terminal and more. MyFlow pastes at your cursor, so it doesn't need a plugin for each app. Password fields and apps that block pasting are the exceptions.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). We test on macOS 26. The current download doesn't run on Intel Macs. You also need room for one speech model, from about 30 MB to 1.5 GB depending on which you pick.
Do I need the internet?
Only to download MyFlow and your speech model. After that, dictation works with Wi-Fi off. AI cleanup needs the internet only if you choose a cloud provider.
Why does macOS warn me the first time I open it?
MyFlow isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to confirm once. Open MyFlow, click Done on the warning, then go to System Settings, Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. After that it opens normally.
Can I buy Pro or Lifetime today?
Not yet. Checkout opens soon. Download Free now and tick the box for update emails, and we'll send you the early-bird Lifetime link as soon as it's live.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes. Cancel Pro any time and keep it until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime comes with a 30-day refund, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy for details.

What does "Coming soon" mean?
